Keegan Cares advocates for the awareness of the signs of scoliosis.
Scoliosis is more common than you think. More than 3 million people are diagnosed with it each year in the U.S.
I care about kids being aware of scoliosis so I created, Keegan Cares.

My Story
Scoliosis is Sneaky
Scoliosis can occur suddenly in kids ages 10-15 during a growth spurt. Girls are 10x more susceptible to severe scoliosis. It can be idiopathic, meaning no known cause, and/or hereditary.
Speak to students
Since 2007, Indiana schools no longer screen for scoliosis. Most schools nationwide don’t as well. To educate on the signs of scoliosis, I speak to school health classes about my journey. More on Speaking here.
Keegan Cares Bill
Because my doctor and school never checked for scoliosis, I had no idea I had it. My mission is to reinstate scoliosis checks in schools and am currently crafting a Keegan Cares Bill with state legislators.
Mission and Support
Keegan Cares advocates for awareness of the signs of scoliosis. Keegan serves by mentoring families & kids, and public speaking. As a nonprofit, Keegan Cares raises funds through Care'danas (bandanas) sales and donations to provide printed flyers, a website, media interviews, and educational appearances. Keegan Cares encourages annual screenings for 10 to 15 year-olds. Keegan is in contact with state legislators to mandate scoliosis screenings back in public schools.
